Multicriteria Decision Analysis and Group Decision-Making to Select Stand-Level Forest Management Models and Support Landscape-Level Collaborative Planning

چکیده
Forest management planning is a challenge due to the diverse criteria that need be considered in underlying decision-making process. This becomes more complex joint collaborative areas (ZIF) because decision now may involve numerous actors with interests, preferences, and goals. In this research, we present an approach identifying quantifying most relevant consider forest process ZIF context, including performance of seven alternative stand-level models (FMM). Specifically, developed combined multicriteria analysis group by (a) building cognitive map identify sub-criteria; (b) structuring tree; (c) questionnaire elicit importance sub-criteria pairwise comparison process, evaluate FMM alternatives; (d) applying Delphi survey gather actors’ preferences. We report results from application case study area, Vale do Sousa, North-Western Portugal. Actors assigned highest income (56.8% all actors) risks (21.6% lowest cultural services (27.0% actors). agreed on their preferences for (diversification sources), (wildfires) (leisure recreation activities). However, there was poor agreement among wood demand biodiversity criteria. For 27.0% pedunculate oak 43.2% eucalypt least preferable alternative. The findings indicate can support managers enhancing improving its utility facilitating implementation.

Decision-Support Planning and Tools: Planning to Support Decision-Making
As the Army increases its focus on decisive action, more units are emphasizing decision-support templates and matrices as part of the planning process. Unfortunately, these tools have only minimally impacted tactical decision-making and mission outcomes because leaders are using these tools as another synchronization tool rather than focusing on decision points. When used correctly, decision-su...
متن کاملContributions to Dynamic Multicriteria Decision Making Models
In this work we start by presenting a possible architecture for MultiCriteria Dynamic Decision Making (MCDDM) problems. Then we focus on contributions for the rating process because it involves two important aspects of any dynamic spatial-temporal decision problem: how to deal with uncertainty in dynamically changing input data and how consider different criteria importance, depending on criter...
متن کاملEnergy planning: a multi-level and multicriteria decision making structure proposal
Energy planning is a complex issue because of its multi-scale and multicriteria issues. In this contribution, a prospective analysis on the development of a multi-level and multicriteria decision-making structure dedicated to energy planning is developed. This analysis is based on an examination of the specificity of the energy supply chain as well as a state of the art aimed at classifying the...
متن کاملRelating decision under uncertainty and multicriteria decision making models
This short overview paper points out the striking similarity between decision under uncertainty and multicriteria decision making problems, two areas which have been developed in an almost completely independent way until now. This pertains both to additive and non-additive (including qualitative) approaches existing for the two decision paradigms. This leads to emphasize the remarkable formal ...
متن کاملGroup Decision Methodology for Collaborative Multicriteria Assignment
In this paper we present a group decision methodology for multicriteria classification decisions focusing on small collaborative teams, where group members express their preferences on problem parameters in numeric and linguistic format. Individual preferences are aggregated by appropriate operators and a group parameter set is produced which is used as input for the classification algorithm. N...
